Hot on the heels of my latest post comes this report from Reuters, which Marshall Masters was kind to send me.
It verifies something that we have suspected for some time, now, that disasters have not just been increasing each year, but multiplying. It also introduces a worldwide organization, Oxfam, that is trying to help to ease the strain on the poorest of humanity to help them get through them.
Disasters quadruple over last 20 years

LONDON (Reuters) - Weather-related disasters have quadrupled over the last two decades, Oxfam said in a report published on Sunday.
From an average of 120 disasters a year in the early 1980s, there are now as many as 500, with Oxfam attributing the rise to unpredictable weather conditions cause by global warming.
“This year we have seen floods in South Asia, across the breadth of Africa and Mexico that have affected more than 250 million people,” said Oxfam’s director Barbara Stocking.
These charity organizations will be in Group #1 when Planet X comes, but they cannot be the only ones, as even they will suffer the effects.
Catch you on the backside!
