The WISE will show us the way.

The WISE science instrument is about to be launched into space later this year.  How will this help us as Planet X researchers?  It will be able to detect brown dwarf stars, such as Nemesis, around which Planet X orbits.

Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) announced that it has completed NASA’s Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer (WISE) science instrument. The WISE instrument was shipped from SDL’s manufacturing and test facility in North Logan, Utah, to Ball Aerospace and Technologies Corp. in Boulder, Colo., where it will be integrated onto the satellite.

Standing approximately two meters tall and weighing over 360 kilograms at launch, the WISE instrument is designed to discover many cool, dim brown dwarf stars close to our sun, and detect far distant ultra-luminous infrared galaxies where star formation is taking place at a greatly accelerated rate.

Once this is in orbit, the search for Planet X will continue in earnest.  Will the public be made aware of it?  I hope so.

Catch you on the Backside!
