In the Movie 2012 there is a poignant line from the lead character Jackson Curtis.  “When they tell you not to panic… that’s when you run!”

An interesting notion when you consider that we live in a society that principally relies on external messaging systems to warn us of impending disaster.  The result of this dependency is that while few may instinctively know when it is time to run, the vast majority will not. However, what the majority will know, is when to panic — long after their fates have already been decided for them

Was it always this way?  Certainly not! For most of human history we have possessed a natural ability to sense danger, through our natural awareness.  However, in this wired and connected modern world, our ancient ability to resonate with our environment is now seen by most as a useless carryover, much like an appendix.

We’re modern and advanced now.  Hence, all we needed is to surf the Internet or tune into a cable new show, to see if our government has issued a warning advising us to panic or run, but is this truly wise?

According to author Marie D. Jones, waiting for an electronically delivered message is not a survival skill.  What is, is to reconnect with our ancient environmental ability to  resonate with others and the world about us.  In her book, The Resonance Key: Exploring the Links Between Vibration, Consciousness, and the Zero Point Grid, she explains resonance with modern, scientific terms and at a level the average person can quickly grasp and put to use.

As Marie explains it, the ability to resonate with the world about us is simple.  Yet, it is also complicated by the way we often try to rationally define it, when the only true way to understand it, is to experience it.

This is important, because in global cataclysm where our electrically and electronically driven environment collapses, this ancient gift will once again serve as a true survival advantage.
