Happy 2008 to All!

2007 was a memorable year. It started with Darth Vader leading a legion of stormtroopers down Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena, and it ended with Your Own World Books’ release of Planet X Forecast and 2012 Survival Guide.

Star Wars started 30 years ago as a tale of a family torn apart by intergalactic strife. Planet X Forecast and 2012 Survival Guide is an attempt to help families deal with coming interplanetary strife that they will face as 2012 draws near.

While Star Wars is a work of fiction, Planet X Forecast and 2012 Survival Guide was a non-fiction labor of love for its three authors. We did our best to be sure that our research was as accurate as possible, and we spent many long months working out the best, most practical means of survival by considering as many scenarios as possible.

While none of us has any illusions about suddenly becoming the next George Lucas, we all are looking forward to New Year’s Day 2014. May that January 1 be the most joyous on record.
