NASA calls comet Elenin “wimpy,” because by late August, it will be barely be naked eye visible as a dim “fuzzy star” with a tail. By 16-Oct, it will be at its brightest, during its closest approach to Earth. At that time, it will be some 22 million miles, just a little closer to us than Venus.

However, if Elenin is a wimp, it will still soon be observed by the Stero-B and SOHO solar observatories in August and September. With this in mind, the Planet X Town Hall Comet Elenin team weighs in on:

The Comet Elenin buzz on the Web today, all essentially boils down to one question. “Just what the heck are we looking at?” A good question as some believe that this relatively young comet, possessing a fraction of the brightness and mass of a great comet such as Hale Bopp or Halley’s Comet, is actually a brown dwarf sun entering the core of our solar system. So how much of this spaghetti sticks to the wall? Some of it does.

In our last Comet Elenin show, we looked at the correlations between the Hopi Blue Star prophecy and Sumerian and Hebrew Accounts. In this follow-on interview, we explore a striking correlation between Revelations and Hopi prophecy. These two prophecies cover the same harbinger event from different world views, but fit together like the pieces of a great puzzle.

Comet C/2010 X1 Elenin is the hop topic on the Web today. This mysterious comet was discovered in December 2010 by Russian astronomer Leonid Elenin. Many have tried to vet his background with frustrating results and now wonder if he is a real person, or just a code word for an E.L.E. (Extinction Level Event), from the constellation LEO.

For those in the mainstream, all of this speculation and debate makes it difficult to draw a clear bead on the real story. This is because when Comet Elenin becomes visible to the naked eye later this year, it will not appear as a second sun in the sky. That is, assuming present estimates hold true.

Meanwhile, some maintain it is Planet X, a mini-constellation of planets and moons orbiting a brown dwarf star. Others believe it is a mother ship under intelligent control, and the list goes on.

So when will all this debate finally come to a head? When Comet Elenin can be observed with a common pair of inexpensive 7×35 binoculars, such as those we keep around the house for bird watching, sporting events and so forth. Then we’ll ALL know for certain.

In the meantime, we should be willing to ask ourselves if all this confusion is actually an elitist red herring? A carefully crafted web of facts and lies, with the goal of distracting us from more immediate needs? Namely, those of planning and preparing for whatever may come in the years ahead.
